Rising Stars

Dear Parents,

We are so excited to welcome your daughter as a Rising Star participant in the Miss West Alabama Competition!

The Rising Star Program is designed to provide young girls with positive, inspiring role models while allowing them to build meaningful relationships with our candidates and learn more about the Miss America Organization.

Our Rising Stars will be featured on stage during the Miss West Alabama Competition and will also enjoy a pizza party lunch with the contestants. During the event, names will be randomly drawn on stage to select the Rising Star who will serve alongside Miss West Alabama & Miss Central Alabama throughout her year of service and at the Miss Alabama Competition.

Rising Star participants must be between the ages of 7 and 11 (as of the date of the state Miss or Teen Competition) and live or attend school in Alabama.

The Rising Star participation fee is $75. All proceeds directly support the Miss West Alabama Organization, helping fund scholarships—a vital part of both the Miss Alabama and Miss America programs.

For the on-stage presentation, Rising Stars should wear a dressy or semi-formal dress.
(If your daughter is selected as the winner, please note that you will be responsible for the Miss Alabama Rising Star participation fee.)

Once completed registration form & headshot has been emailed, you will receive payment methods we accept.

A detailed itinerary will be provided a few days before the pageant.
